This size chart indicates the exact length of the insole that sits inside of the boot. Most adults prefer to have some room (3mm to 1cm depending on your personal preference) between the end of their toes and the end of the boot. For children that are still growing you can allow 1-2cm of growing room (again, this depends on your personal preference).
