FR Freestyle Frames

From FR Skates comes a totally new approach to the design of freestyle frames and freeride possibilities.

This frame uses 90mm wheels in the number 1 and 4 positions and 2 smaller 72mm wheels in the number 2 and 3 position. 

These two middle wheels are fitted with rockable axles, so you can run a flat or a rockered set up.

Two sizes available:
237mm / 90-72-72-90 (4 x 80mm equivalent)
231mm / 84-72-72-84 (4 x 76mm equivalent)

With the rockering system (2nd and 3rd wheel axles) skaters can switch between a flat or rockered set up depending on their needs.

"Many years ago, when I was still a competitor, I was testing bigger wheels for Freestyle Slalom. 

I noticed that it was great to increase the speed in wheelings, and could also be an advantage for spins; however, the longer frames were a handicap for freestyle moves.

I was wondering what would be the best option to combine, speed and balance, without altering the flow of the tricks: 4x84mm or even 4x90mm? Too long! 3x84 or 3x90? Not good for the flow and not comfortable to skate with.

So I got the idea to combine two smaller centre wheels, and two larger outer wheels.

This would help to keep the skates fast, low to the ground, and manoeuvrable.

My first impressions while testing, were amazing and immediately gave me great feelings.

The actual pro-skaters who also tested them unanimously loved them.

So after finalizing the development and testing, I am really happy, and proud, to introduce the new FR Freestyle frames.

They are already available in two versions : 90-72-72-90mm and 84-72-72-84mm.

We made them rockerable on the centre wheels, to offer different options and adapt it to your flow.
