Comfortable boot

My foot size is about 278 x 105 which corresponds to size 44 - mondo 282. I took a 45 - mondo 289 as my other 2 powerslide skates are Phuzion Argon 45 and Next 44-45. I was surprised to find the HC Evo slightly too roomy and probably 44 would have been ok. Because there is no removable innersole I simply added a 3mm sports Masseur innersole from Woolworths. Innersole cups my heel and provides arch support which is not really provided by the stitched in innersole. After heat moulding and adding innersole I find these boots to be comfortable and not too big or long - I definitely don't feel there is 10 mm in front of my big toe, just a nice clearance. I'm a 64 year old fitness skater and will never do tricks so comfort was number 1 priority - more proficient skaters will need the size as per the chart. Weight is about the same as my other two skates . The noticeable advantage is how precise your connection to the pavement is. I really like them. I compared the Lucky Skates sale price to price in Euros on the Powerslide website and Lucky was $50 less. I had spectacular after sales service from Lucky Skates when there was an issue with my order.
