Engineered with high-quality materials and skater-informed improvements, the new Riedell Solaris 2.0 roller skate boot builds upon the success of the original Solaris with a refined fit and enhanced support. 

Featuring a new tongue for improved comfort and less lace bite, additional reinforcements for better boot structure and longevity, and a convenient finger loop backstay for everyday use, the Solaris 2.0 delivers peak performance for skaters who push boundaries and demand the best.

The main changes are in the tongue, the addition of a backstay loop and expanded reinforcements (counters) for boot longevity and added support.

Cosmetically there are new graphics and logos.

Like the original, the Solaris 2.0 utilises Riedell's state-of-the-art Dynamic Response Outsole for enhanced strength, rigidity, and dampening.

The modern toe shape of the ContourFit last and the anatomically curved collar of the Solaris synergise to provide maximum comfort and range of motion.

The boot makes use of an innovative strap design, the V-Lock, which securely holds the heel in place to eliminate slippage and ensure that nothing impedes your skating experience.

Soft Kango-Tan leather uppers offer superior fit and comfort, while perforated Strada microfibre lining with antimicrobial odour and moisture-resistant treatments helps to secure the foot and provide longevity to the boot itself.  

Compared to Riedell's other boots, the Solaris 2.0 has a wider, more foot shaped fit and a C/AA last.

Instead of a leather sole, the Solaris boot has a very lightweight plastic outsole, which reduces the overall weight of the boot.

It is a very comfortable leather boot that can be used for roller derby, recreation or speed and is handmade in the USA.
