Major upgrade from the old plastic shell with no foam lining. The extra part at the back fits snugly on the back of the head, protecting vital structures and keeping the helmet more secure. The included foam options provide a custom fit, and the lining wicks sweat while drying quickly. Add in the extra bonus of being able to add a visor in future if needed. Well worth the extra cost over the more basic helmet, super happy with the recommendation from the shop.

Pleasantly surprised how good this skate is. It has a nice firm but not too tight fit. Durability and stability is also excellent. Would definitely recommend for new or experienced skaters.

Getting back into roller derby, and wanted some decent pads. These fit beautifully over my knees, don't move, and allow freedom of movement. Easy to put on. The clip around the calf strap is a great feature, as is the silicone grip. Haven't actually fallen on them yet, but I have faith I won't feel a thing. Well made too.

Had an excellent experience ordering roller blades for our son's birthday through Lucky skates, the delivery turn around was super quick. We bought the matching elbow and knee pads, and they neatly tucked this into the rollerblade box. Everything arrived in perfect condition. And... our son just loves them. Lucky were the only ones with the colour range and selection outside the standard so we were really happy.
